Treat the black water on your vessel with BLUE SEA
With BLUE SEA it is now possible to discharge wastewater directly into the sea with full respect for the environment and compliance with current standards, at the same time avoiding heavy and inconvenient waste collection tanks and long drainage procedures in authorized ports.
Treat the black water on your vessel with Blue Sea
The BLUE SEA system is a new generation wastewater purifier capable of treating from 2500-22000 litres a day.
The Blue Sea system is equipped to purify, macerate and sterilize all in accordance with the enforced norms regarding the discharge of wastewater into the sea.
In fact, a BLUE SEA marine wastewater treatment plant guarantees the elimination of bacterial pollution through an oxide/reduction process and, most of all, drastically reduces TSS, BOD5, COD, turbidity and the organic and physical pollutants in wastewater produced on a boat, thanks to the fine purification system.
Selmar BLUE SEA treated wastewater complies with the international regulation of “Marpol” environmental rules.
Selmar’s purification system is based off of an advanced oxidation-reduction process as well as being equipped with two units of U.V sterilization (primary and secondary), an air blower, oxygenation unit, flotation system, “cleaning/sanitation” unit and the advanced maceration/comminution stage. All of these stages and units together complete the marine sewage treatment plant and make it unique in its kind.
The “Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP)” uses a combined action of ozone, OH free radicals, ultraviolet rays and hydrogen peroxide, making it incredibly effective for black and grey wastewater treatment.
