Your first port of call for premium marine equipment
Technically engineered products designed, manufactured and distributed for marine and off grid applications.
Designed for the most demanding yachtsman, developed together with boat builders.
QS Seamaster has developed a complete and advanced line of DC, brushless, AC and hydraulic electric thrusters. Built and designed entirely in Italy, the product range includes 40 to 1100 Kgf models for boats and yachts up to 150ft.
QS Seamaster thruster benefits
The propeller
4 and 5 blade propellers designed specifically to ensure maximum performance and efficiency from each motor.
Propellers made of special composite or in NiBrAl. All double propellers are counterrotating.
The propeller of each of the thruster models between 40 and 1100kgf is specifically shaped in relation to its maximum revolutions, which provides the highest thrust efficiency.
The motor
A complete line of DC, AC, brushless DC-AC, retractable and hydraulic thrusters from 30 to 1100 Kgf thrust, available both with analogic or digital connection systems, on/off or proportional commands. The QS Seamaster bow and stern thrusters represent the most advanced range of products available on the market.
Noise
The noise production of QS Seamaster thrusters is reduced to the bare minimum due to the specific design of the propellers and the optimized streamline of the tail piece.
Installation
All of the thrusters we supply here at Stella are tunnel thrusters.
Installation of a QS Seamaster bow thruster is super simple and requires minimal labour.
A control panel, either equipped with a joystick or with push buttons, is available separately. Their shape and finish make these panels a perfect match with their engine instrument panels, allowing for a highly sophisticated combination.

Stern Thruster
If you require almost absolute control of your boat under all imaginable circumstances, then a stern thruster is, in addition to a bow thruster, the ideal supporting navigational aid.
Benefits of a stern thruster
The combination of a bow and a stern thruster offers entirely new perspectives when maneuvering in tricky situations or in tight turns. By having the stern thruster rotating in the opposite direction of the bow thruster, you can make the boat turn on its axis. And when both propellers are operating in the same direction, you are maneuvering the boat perpendicularly on its normal direction line, to either port or starboard.
Installation of a stern thruster
The maintenance-free stern thruster is fitted to the transom of the boat. The electric motor and the other electrical components are positioned inside the boat, whereas the tunnel is located outside underneath the waterline.
Bow and stern thrusters have become an important device when moving at low speed.
It makes manoeuvring easier, safer and quicker.
Craftsman Marine thruster benefits
The propeller
The propeller, which is made of maintenance-free synthetic material, can run in two directions, thus producing a jet flow to port or starboard. Each propeller is designed to achieve maximum thrust in a small tunnel diameter. This makes maneuvering in tight spots against a strong current or a shifty wind much easier.
The propeller of each of the thruster models between 35 and 170kgf is specifically shaped in relation to its maximum revolutions, which provides the highest thrust efficiency.
The motor
Craftsman Marine specifies the average force of the thrusters, however the starting peak force (1 second) can be easily 60% higher.
Noise
The noise production of Craftsman Marine thrusters is reduced to the bare minimum due to the specific design of the propellers and the optimized streamline of the tail piece.
Installation
All of the thrusters we supply here at Stella are tunnel thrusters.
Installation of a Craftsman Marine bow thruster is totally uncomplicated and requires a minimum of labour.
A control panel, either equipped with a joystick or with push buttons, is available separately. Their shape and finish make these panels a perfect match with their engine instrument panels, allowing for a highly sophisticated combination.

The electric motor and the other electrical components are positioned inside the boat, whereas the tunnel is located outside underneath the waterline. Craftsman Marine’s stern thrusters come in four sizes and capacities, with tunnel dimensions of 110, 150, 185 or 250 mm.
Additional Parts
Control Panels
Bow and stern thrusters liberate the skipper from his heavy handiwork. The control panels of the Craftsman Marine bow and stern thrusters also contribute to optimum ease of operation. Both push button and joystick control are available.
In the case of only a bow thruster, a single panel is used. Dual panels serve the purpose of both a bow and a stern thruster.
The top sides of the panels are made watertight in accordance with the protection classification IP66. Craftsman Marine thruster control panels are milled from an aluminium sheet and anodised to ensure perfect protection against all (marine) weather conditions. They also include protection for motor direction, temperature and continuous use.
Cables
Connection cables in 7,10, 15 and 20m lengths.
To connect the bow and/or stern thrusters to the appropriate control panel, a cable loom is required, which can be ordered to size, in lengths from 7 to 20m.
Craftsman marine cables come with watertight, multi-plugs. Cables of different lengths can be interconnected. With the aid of a splitter cable, two control panels can be connected to only one bow or stern thruster.
Tunnels
GRP and steel to suit each thruster in 1 and 3m lengths.
Craftsman Marine can supply the required tunnels in various lengths and diameters, in steel, aluminium or GRP (fibreglass reinforced polyester) to suit each thruster in their product range.

The Hardest Pushing Boat Thrusters Ever Built
ABT TRAC bow and stern thrusters generate more thrust per horsepower than any other boat thruster on the market. One word to describe ABT TRAC systems – Powerful.
ABT-TRAC bow and stern thrusters deliver more thrust per horsepower than any other thruster available. TRAC’s twin counter-rotating propellers are more efficient and can reach higher horsepower than single prop thrusters.
ABT TRAC hydraulic thrusters are fitted with high efficiency piston motors. 8’ thru 12’ thrusters are available in a DC version and all ABT-TRAC thrusters are available in AC versions.
Thruster Controls
Thruster control is available in single or proportional speed. Proportional thruster control enables precise manoeuvring control.
TRAC Integrated Hydraulic System
Most ABT-TRAC thrusters are powered by a TRAC Integrated Hydraulic system. Integrated Hydraulics may also support stabilizers, windlasses, capstans, cranes, or other hydraulic equipment.

Electric rudder control system that, when integrated with other Waveless products STAB and Trim, can provide excellent course keeping and smooth changes of direction.
Cruising will never be the same.
Dia-log
Waveless products are equipped with CMC Marine’s patented DIA-LOG software, the same used on super and mega yachts.
Underway and Anchor mode are always available.
You can have complete control of your system thanks to a touch screen, designed to have all the features at your fingertips.
Features Available:
Flip
FLIP mode allows the STAB fins to rotate 180° while in Anchor mode.
Reduce ”anchor walk” and keep the anchor chain tight and the bow in the wind in any weather condition.
Actual flip angle can be adjusted at commissioning time to account for hull shape and prevent interference with the chain.
Night Mode
Reduce STAB power absorption to approximately 60%, while in Anchor mode.
Night mode is useful to limit power demand on generators and extend battery duration when working on the yacht’s DC system.
Adaptive
In Adaptive mode, your STAB system monitors sea conditions and adjusts operation parameters automatically to provide the best stabilization for every condition.
Integrated Stabilisation System
CMC Marine’s has established its industry leadership for motion control, through a full range of solutions. Every system is an assembly of the most advanced, robotic-industry standard technologies, made to work with the highest standards of performance, accuracy, fast response, reliability and energy efficiency. All systems can operate independently whenever required, but maximum performance is achieved when they work together, controlled by the same algorithm, processor and motion sensors. Dia-log performs at its best when installed with waveless stabilisers and trim.
