Italian stabilization specialist CMC Marine have chosen Stella Marine, a well-established Australian provider of integrated engineering, installation and constructions solutions for private and commercial yachts as the authorised sales and service centre of their products.
Stella Marine is headquartered in South East Queensland and already works on various assistance and distribution projects for the stabilization systems designed and built by CMC Marine.
The recent Waveless Line for yachts in the 12 to 40 meter range has proven to be a success in the Australian market already. One example is the installation of STAB40 stabilizer fins soon to be fitted to an Australian owner’s Falcon 86. While on the assistance side of the business, a Mangusta GS 54 01 (M/Y El Leon”) is now undergoing periodical servicing of its Dualis and Stabilis Electra 160 electric stabilization systems by a team of Australian experts at the Rivergate Marina & Shipyard.
Stella Marine CEO Gary Cooper said of the new agreement, “CMC Marine is a solid company with an international footprint. The brand leads the superyacht stabilizer market and unanimous approval of its product has encouraged us to add this prestigious name to our already long list.”

This agreement, following close on the heels of the agreement with the New Zealand-based service centre Lighthouse Marine, represents another step forward in CMC Marine’s drive across this entire continent, which is of growing importance for the world yacht industry, and reinforces the importance of the region for the Italian firm.
